Academic Bridging Connections Programs

The Academic Bridging Connections Program (ABCP) has been created to address the challenges that arise for students making the transition from the Academic Bridging Program to full or part-time studies at Woodsworth College. The program is designed to guide students in their efforts to achieve their academic, social and personal goals as new university students. The Academic Bridging Connections Program will support the unique needs of Academic Bridging graduates, and will provide participants with the opportunity to learn and grow through guidance, communication and leadership of a supportive community. The objective of the program is to ensure these new students remain engaged and committed to their development and education. This will be achieved by building confidence and skills, and by providing a safe space for guidance during the transition year. The Academic Bridging Connections Program is also designed to provide mentors with opportunities to develop communication and leadership skills; to further develop their own potential as students and as community leaders.

Applying to the Academic Bridging Connections Program as either a mentor or a mentee is easy. You just simply have to click on the appropriate link and fill-out and submit the application. You will then be contacted by the Dean’s office to arrange a short interview.
